Deep pours fail for one reason: heat. Stack too much resin and the exotherm runs away, you get amber discolouration, cracks radiating from the core, and in the worst case a scorched inclusion.
Abyss runs cool and slow. Thirty-six hours to demould instead of twelve, and a peak exotherm low enough that we've cast a full 50mm river channel around dried eucalyptus without browning a single leaf. It's also the resin we specify for memory work — anything with a real object suspended in it goes into Abyss.
